Emmanuel Macron, president of the Republic of France, on Sunday June 9, 2024, plunged the nation into an unexpected phenomenon, after dissolving the country’s ‘Assemblée Nationale’, sending the French people into legislative elections following the winning of Jordan Bardella into the European parliament.
Jordan Bardella is a ‘Far- Right’ political party ( Rassemblée Nationale-RN), with it’s main motive to fight against immigration, with little or no real political agenda.
Counting on the maturity and jurisprudence of the French citizens, Emmanuel Macron announced an overhaul referendum through a universal sulphrage for Sunday 30th June ( First Round) – Sunday 7th July ( Second Round) to decipher on the future of the people of France.
France is on the verge of having a ‘Far – Right wing’ representative as Prime Minister in the person of Jordan Bardella, already standing confidently at the touchline, should RN win in both rounds of the elections.
Today Sunday, the Rassemblée Nationale-RN is leading the log with 33.5- 34%,
Nouveau Front Populaire 28.1 – 29.1%,
Majorité Présidentielle 20.7 – 22%
Les Républicains 9.5 – 10%
Others 5.2%.
