Yaoundé, Cameroon— Sad news has struck Cameroon’s political landscape following the passing of Nfor Tabetando Ndiep Nso, widely known as Senator Tabe Tando, a prominent representative of the South West Region.
Senator Tabe Tando was a senior figure within Cameroon’s Senate, where he served as Vice President of the upper house, a position that placed him at the heart of legislative affairs and national decision-making.
Over the years, he built a reputation as a seasoned politician, actively contributing to debates, policy discussions, and governance at the highest level.
As a committed member of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM), he played a significant role in advancing the party’s agenda while also representing the interests of the South West Region. His political career spanned several years of public service, during which he remained an influential and respected voice both within government and among his constituents.
Beyond national politics, Senator Tabe Tando was also a traditional ruler from Manyu Division, where he was deeply involved in grassroots leadership.
