US ex – president Donald Trump cheats dead in an assassination attempt yesterday Saturday 13,July 2024.
A 20 years old man, identified by the FBI as Thomas Matthew Crooks, of Pennsylvania origin, and registered as voter of the Republican party according to an official document published by the New York times attempted to snatch life out of the former US president with a long range sniper. Trump was targeted but fortunately the bullet got and injured only his ear, and he immediately stumbled on the ground before being secured by men in uniform
The assassination attempt took place during an open meeting held by the former president in lights of the upcoming US presidential elections. The assailant was immediately gunned down by the USA Secret Service some 150 metres away from the meeting ground.
Donald Trump took the presidential office in 20 January 2017 – 20 January 2021, after beating his opponent in November 2016, just to later lose to Mr Joe Bidden during the contest for his second mandate.
