The Besaah youths and elites of Misaje Subdivision turned out in impressive numbers at the Douala International Airport on Monday to welcome home their number one elite, Ta Nformi, Professor Mpoche Kizitus, following his return from an international academic mission in Russia.
The warm reception brought together members of the Besaah community who gathered at the airport to celebrate the return of the distinguished academic and community leader.
The atmosphere was marked by excitement, solidarity and a strong display of community pride as the Besaah youths and elites awaited the arrival of Professor Mpoche Kizitus Nformi.
Upon his arrival, the delegation accompanied him from the Douala International Airport to his residence in Bonamoussadi, where the welcome ceremony continued in a colourful traditional setting.
At his residence, the occasion was enlivened by a series of traditional dances, providing an opportunity for members of the Besaah community to express their joy and appreciation for the safe return of their elite. The cultural display also underscored the community’s attachment to its traditions and the importance it places on honouring its sons and daughters who make significant contributions both at home and internationally.
Professor Mpoche Kizitus Appreciates Besaah Community
Addressing the gathering, Ta Nformi, Prof. Mpoche Kizitus Nformi expressed his appreciation to the Besaah community for the surprise welcome accorded to him.
He thanked the youths and elites for taking the time to mobilize and receive him personally, describing the gesture as a demonstration of love, respect and community solidarity.
Beyond expressing gratitude, the professor used the occasion to encourage the Besaah youths to remain united and committed to working together for the advancement of their community.
He stressed that there is strength in togetherness rather than division, urging the youths to avoid anything that could create unnecessary divisions among them.
According to him, unity remains an important foundation for collective progress, and the Besaah community can achieve more when its members stand together and support one another.

Professor Mpoche Kizitus also reassured the Besaah youths that his doors remain open to them.
He encouraged them to reach out whenever they are faced with challenges or need his support, emphasizing his willingness to remain available to the community.
