Turkish super Lig club Tranzonspor have been ordered to play Six games behind Closed doors, after violence broke out in last months 2:3 lig defeat by Fenerbache.
The game played at the Parapa Park in Trabzon,saw fans invade the pitch and attacked Fenerbache player’s and security forces.
Two Player’s from the visitor’s were given one-game bans for fighting with rival fans.
The home side have also been fined 75000 Million Euros,and their head Coach Egemen Korkmaz banned from the dressing room and bench for one match for fighting with a rival fan.
The decision by the Turkish Football federation’s disciplinary Council was decided in a meeting that took place on Tuesday April 2,2024.
World’s football Governing body (FIFA) President Gianni Infantino said that the incidents were “absolutely unacceptable”.
Football in Turkey this season has been plagued with a number of violent confrontations between fans, Club president’s, security forces and the players.
