The city of Limbe came alive with excitement and youthful energy as the second edition of the Project One Shoes Youth Football Tournament successfully concluded, crowning new champions and celebrating the future of Cameroonian football.

After four days of thrilling competition, outstanding performances, and unforgettable moments, teams and players were rewarded with medals and prizes across three competitive age categories.
In the Under-16 division, Elite Football Academy of Bamenda emerged champions after a remarkable campaign that displayed skill, discipline, and determination.
Meanwhile, ANAFOOT Limbe sent a powerful message by dominating two categories, lifting trophies in both the Under-12 and Under-14 divisions.
The tournament attracted hundreds of young footballers from different parts of Cameroon, offering them a valuable platform to compete, learn, and dream bigger. Coaches, scouts, football lovers, and families watched closely as the young talents showcased impressive ability, tactical intelligence, and passion for the game.
For many of the participants, the tournament was more than just a competition—it was a stepping stone toward a brighter future. With every pass, tackle, and goal, these young athletes embraced the possibility of one day wearing the green, red, and yellow of Cameroon on the international stage.

Speaking after the event, main promoter Adamu Martin emphasized that the initiative is committed to promoting grassroots football while helping discover future stars who can represent the nation at higher levels.
Organizers explained that beyond producing football talent, the tournament also teaches life-changing values such as teamwork, respect, perseverance, discipline, and fair play—qualities that remain important both on and off the pitch.
Parents, coaches, and supporters praised the initiative, noting that such competitions provide young people with positive opportunities, keep them engaged in constructive activities, and nurture their dreams through sport.
The tournament is the brainchild of US-based Cameroonians Adamu Martin and Tabi Emmanuel, whose vision continues to open doors for young talents back home.
As the curtain falls on another successful edition in Limbe, stakeholders say the growing impact of the tournament is a clear sign that grassroots football in Cameroon has a bright future—and many more stars are waiting to be discovered.
