Gunmen Brutally Murders Buisness Woman in Bamenda.

Fear, Pain and consternation gripped the people of Mbengwi Road Bamenda, on Sunday April 28 at about 10:PM as one of theirs a mother of three was shot at close range by unknown Gunmen. The woman died on the spot.

According to Star TV,The victim known as monji Bernis who hails from Awing, Santa subdivision NWR, is said to be a seamstress at the Bamenda main market and her husband is currently in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

An eyewitness told STAR TV Bamenda that the woman was returning from a farmily meeting together with some of her family members onboard three cars.

The car which she was onboard dropped her at ‘Mbogam Junction-Mbengwi Road . As she started climbing the hill to her résidence, Gunmen appeared in front of her. she was shot on the head and chest. She died on the spot.

The same Gunmen opened fire at the car that dropped her and injured one occupant. Fortunately the driver was fast to kick off the car and rushed the injured person to a health facility in Bamenda for medical attention.

“The mum i know does not even have friends she’s such a quiet and calm lady you can never see her arguing with someone she leaves in the morning to work and back home at 5:pm she is always indoors if you are seeing her is only when she’s going to work or on Sundays when she’s going for meeting” Somebody closed to her told us.

The motivé behind the killing of the woman still remains unknown and the Gunmen who carried out the attack are also not known yet.

“They came purposely for her because the people who killed her stood at the 2 entrances leading to her house it shows its something that was planned” As.quoted by the Bamenda based TV.
