Elite Sports Academy Goes Operational

A new Sports Academy has been officially opened in Bamenda, headquarter of the Northwest Region of Cameroon.

Elite Sports Academy, nicknamed “The Pride of Bamenda” was launched on Sunday March 31 2024 in a special occasion at the Epic Event Center.

According to the President of Elite Sports Academy, Ndimengwi Livingston, the objective of the ESA, is to train boys and girls who in future shall be literate world class Sporters with good morals.

Elite Sports Academy is one of the few Academies in Bamenda to boast of with head office and a training center, where their trainees receive lectures.

During the official launching ceremony attended by hundreds of football supporters there was a fundraising to support the project.

Founded on January 25 2024, ESA has their main office located at T-Junction with lecture room at the Amphi 100, in the office building, with their training ground at the Big Mankon Cathedral Stadium.

The Academy will train kids in the Under 10,13 and 15 categories.

Apart from football the Academy will also develop talents in different sporting disciplines as disclosed by Secretary General of ESA, Fru Anye Patrick.
