The 2024, Edition of the Clean Cities Contest has been launched in Kumba Meme Division,of the Southwest Region of Cameroon.
The launching ceremony by the Second Assistant Senior Divisional Officer for Meme Division, Mme Hermia Njonje, together with the Delegate for Housing and Urban Development MINHDU, Meme kicked off in Ntam, Kumba III recently.
Given that the Kumba I Sub Divisional Council proudly clinched the first position at the Divisional level last year, she is more determined than ever to maintain the winning streak!
Under the leadership of the Mayor of Kumba 1, Eseme Moses, the council is geared to secure the top spot once again and proudly represent Meme division at both the regional and national levels. This competition is not just about winning; it’s about showcasing a commitment to creating a clean, green, and sustainable environment for the welfare of every inhabitant.
On this score Mayor Eseme Moses Esembe, has called on all in the council area to harness the existing community spirit, and make Kumba I Council shine adequately in this year’s Clean Cities Contest.
The Kumba 1 Council hopes to clinched the trophy again reason why the mayor is leaving now stone unturned.
