Doctor Ngogang John Sent To Jail After “Killing”Pregnant Woman.

Doctor Ngogang John has finally been sent to the Buea Central Prison where he will be awaiting trial.

On the instructions of the Procurer General of the South West, Doctor Ngogang was on Thursday April 18 2024 ,sent to be awaiting trail.

Doctor John is accused of the murder of a pregnant mid-wife , Achale Getrude Tabot ,who died after an unsuccessful operation.

The case was filled in by the Executive Director of The Global Forum For The Defense of Human Rights Cameroon, Dr. Ernest Oben Mbikang, who has been at the forefront in seeking justice for Getrude’s family.

It should be recalled that the 30 year old Midwife died on the 18- November 2023 ,after an operation at CMA Muea which lacked the capacity to carry out such a dual operation on a pregnant woman.

The young Doctor John,who has been a doctor for 4 years now failed to consult Professional expertise in carrying out such a delicate operation in a city of Buea where there are numerous surgeons.

At the time of the dual surgery the blood percent of Getrude was less than 10 percent, there was no blood bank, no electricity and other necessary operation kits which led to the death of the Midwife.

Five months after the family maintains that their daughter was killed and have been demanding justice.

    That serves him right. I pray other defaulters like him should follow the same fate like him so that innocent people will not be lost just like that. Others doing similar things should stop as well before it’s too late

    There are many things wrong with your post and headline.

    The Doctor didn’t go to surgery with a gun or he/she didn’t gun down the patient.

    The case has not been ruled and found him guilty of any crime . Someone unlawfully kept in awaiting trial doesn’t make them guilty.

    You want to change your headline to “allegedly” and not lead a particular.

    How many patients has the doctor saved in his 4 years of service would like to write about that too. Or how has the community of Muea reported his services?

    That said you will need to revisit your journalism classes if at all you went to one.

    First of all the caption is quite misleading, secondly let’s get the content of your info..you didn’t bring out any information directly pointing to his carelessness,what medical procedure he took that cause the life of the patient, you didn’t inquire if other patience lost their life because he’s been careless, was there operation carried out with the concent of the family or by force, was there a better alternative quite analyze by medically practictioners that confirm that he’s procedures where unlawful and wilful ..how many has the so call Dr advocating for tell us how many life’s has been lost in his own hands..and if we all need to review it as well..there are many Dr’s in Cameroon and hospitals who go about reckless procedures even refusing to carry out medically procedures willfully which could safe life but they don’t go after them..so Mr blogger get your facts straight and don’t contribute to destroy someone’s life because they paid you to write up lies

      I will reply you because most of you comment maybe because of ignorance or emotions. No doctor was taught to conduct an operation without proper verification and ensuring the patient is ready for such a process. I will like to ask you this question. Will you comment same if it were your mother or sister? Secondly is it the patient to be blamed for the improper checks?
