Ekondo Titi Celebrates Peace , Consolidates Unity Through Football Tournament.
The 2nd edition of the Legendary Football Challenge in Ekondo Titi, Ndian Division of the Southwest Region is underway.
The launching ceremony at the Ekondo Titi Municipal stadium, on Friday August 2, 2024, presented an opportunity for the people to celebrate the return to peace in their area.
The heavily attended opening ceremony saw the rich culture of the Ndian people on display.
The tournament placed under the distinguished patronage of the Prime Minister – Head of government, Chief Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute, is intended to engage the youths in meaningful Nation Building and Developmental activities during these holidays.
The vision bearer of the competition Councilor Julius Ngomo hopes to instill a Spirit of social cohesion, peace, development and living together amongst the people of Ndian via football.
In the Opening game Lobe Estate United FC defeated R.M Ngute FC 3#0.
The competition will run for 1 Month with the winner expected to back home a huge amount.
