Sources close to negotiations indicate that countries are working towards a comprehensive deal on climate financing, technology transfer and adaptation.
As the 29th conference of parties progresses, eyes are on world leaders to deliver concrete commitments and actionable plans to save the globe from the devastating consequences of Climate change.
Research shows that about 3.6 billion people already live in areas highly susceptible to climate change. Between 2030 and 2050, climate change is expected to cause approximately 250 000 additional deaths per year, from undernutrition, malaria, diarrhoea and heat stress alone.
