The African People and the cry of Racism Abroad….
It is a common phenomenon today to see fellow African brothers and sisters feel rejected in different locations in the West and America.
Although true, emphasis has been focused mostly on skin colour as the determining factor for why this practice of racial discrimination still exists, but in reality, the cause is far deeper than just skin colour.
The white skin race also faces racial discrimination from the blacks but in this case we see it as normal because we are the ones who cry louder…
A Cameroonian who cannot tolerate a Ghanaian in Cameroon and abroad, will shout racial foul to a white German who does not accept his presence in Germany…
A Nigerian who cannot tolerate a south African in Nigeria and abroad will cry racism foul to an Italian woman who refuses to sit beside him in a bus in Torino…
The aspect of belonging to a community and the rejection of other people from belonging to our own community is a two way disease, black skin or white skin.
In principle tribalism within the African community is more dangerous than the so-called racism.
Tribalism is the rejection of one’s brother for the mere fact that he does not belong to the same village community, a practice that has greatly affected the easy flow of the interconnection of African people and goods within Africa.
We cry loudly what we practice…
