Campaign fever reached new heights in Nkambe Central Subdivision as Hon. Ngala Gerard, Member of Parliament, CPDM Section President, and Head of the Nkambe Council Campaign Team, stormed Binka village to fire up support for President Paul Biya’s re-election bid.

The rally, held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, Immediately after arriving Binka was attended by Mayor Musa Shey Nfor of Nkambe, along with other senior CPDM officials. Militants, traditional authorities, and villagers turned out in large numbers, filling the venue with songs, dances, and chants of loyalty to the ruling party.
“Biya’s Re-Election Is Not a Joke”

Addressing the crowd, Hon. Ngala Gerard called on the people of Binka to leave no room for doubt when casting their ballots on October 12. He made it clear that supporting President Paul Biya was both a duty and an opportunity to secure the future of the subdivision.
“Paul Biya’s re-election is not a matter to joke about. Binka should not commit the error of voting for some other candidate,” Hon. Ngala declared to resounding applause.
The MP reminded the people of the tangible development projects already achieved in Nkambe under the Head of State. “Don’t you know people elsewhere are jealous of those in Nkambe because of the tarred Ring Road? And that Nkambe hosts the Regional Hospital Annex?” he asked, drawing nods of approval from the crowd.
Mayor Musa Shey’s Reinforcement

Mayor Musa Shey Nfor, who had earlier launched the CPDM campaign in Nkambe town, echoed the MP’s message. He underlined the importance of collective effort in ensuring that Donga Mantung gives a resounding victory to the ruling party. The Mayor also reiterated the population’s call for the creation of a new administrative region, with Nkambe as its capital, insisting that such a move would bring governance closer to the people.

The Binka rally is the latest sign of growing momentum for the CPDM in the North West Region. Hon. Ngala Gerard’s vigorous campaign trail has energized militants and reassured voters of the party’s commitment to development and stability.
