The Indomitable Lions of Basketball are ready to roar again! Cameroon has unveiled its 12-man roster for the first round of qualifiers for the Qatar 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup, set to take place in Tunisia from November 27 to 30.
Cameroon finds itself in a challenging Group A, alongside South Sudan, Libya, and Cape Verde — a mix of experienced and rising African basketball powerhouses. Only five teams from the continent will eventually book their ticket to the world stage.
Leading the charge is Head Coach Alfred Aboya, assisted by Mikel Ereno, as they aim to guide the team through this crucial opening phase. The squad features a blend of youthful energy and seasoned talent:
