In a bold move to promote salesmanship, entrepreneurship, and financial empowerment, ChaCha Company Limited has unveiled a new initiative aimed at transforming its workforce into confident marketers and independent earners. The announcement was made by the company’s CEO, Mr. Fuessoh Asan, on Saturday, January 31, 2026, during the firm’s January general meeting with staff.
At the heart of the initiative is a startup capital package of ChaCha products worth 100,000 CFA francs, made available to interested workers. Employees who opt into the scheme will be allowed to collect the products directly from the company and sell them independently, in locations and markets of their choice.

According to the CEO, participants are only required to formally request the opportunity and clearly state how long they will be away from their regular duties to concentrate on sales. Beneficiaries will then have a three-month period to sell the products and balance their accounts with the company.
Building Marketers, Not Just Workers
Addressing staff, Mr. Asan explained that the program is part of a broader vision to build financially empowered workers rather than dependents.

“I have achieved some of my dreams,” he told employees, “and now I want to create opportunities for Cameroonians—starting with the people who work with me.”
He particularly encouraged workers with an interest in marketing and sales to seize the opportunity, describing it as a practical training ground for entrepreneurship and self-reliance.
Lessons From the Company’s Journey
During his address, the CEO reflected on ChaCha Company’s journey, sharing hard-earned lessons from years of persistence and resilience. He recalled the challenges of importing products from China, where competitors duplicated ChaCha products and flooded the market with cheaper alternatives. He also spoke about the company’s early days in medical products, a sector that attracted criticism and skepticism.
“People talked, people doubted,” he said, “but we stayed focused.”
That focus, he emphasized, is what has kept the company standing and growing despite setbacks.
A Call for Teamwork and Renewed Energy

Mr. Asan stressed that teamwork remains the backbone of ChaCha Company’s growth, noting that collective effort is the only way the company—and its workers—can truly benefit.
“Collaboration will grow this company,” he said. “And when the company grows, everyone grows.”
He also used the meeting to address a recent decline in energy and production, urging staff to renew their commitment, boost productivity, and take personal responsibility for the company’s performance in the months ahead.
Empowerment With Accountability
By setting a clear three-month sales and accounting deadline, management says the initiative balances opportunity with responsibility. The scheme is expected to sharpen workers’ sales skills, expand ChaCha’s market reach, and inject a strong culture of accountability and entrepreneurship within the company.
With this move, ChaCha Company Limited is positioning itself not just as an employer, but as a platform for economic empowerment, giving its workers the tools to earn, learn, and grow—both within and beyond the company walls.
