As of Wednesday, October 1, the wealth of the TESLA & SPACE-X CEO, Elon Musk, climbed up to $500 billion dollars. By this, he became the very first man in the world to reach such an outstanding milestone.
By hitting 500 billion dollars as his net worth, he, comparatively, leaped up nine folds richer than Cameroon. 237 has a 2025 estimated nominal GDP of 56.01 billion dollars according to the World Bank’s latest statistical figures.
THE PARADOX – HIS MODEST LIVING ABODE!
Though being the world’s richest, Elon Musk’s living home is one of the most modest by his stature and standards.
Four years ago, he decided to let go of his luxurious California Mansion and, today, lives his life in a simple studio-like prefabricated home that includes a living area, bedroom, a full kitchen and a bathroom. His Texas home is valued at just 50,000 dollars or about FCFA 26 or 27 million in Cameroon.
His way of life, today, is in stark contrast to the mansions that the rich in many poverty-stricken Africa countries elect to have – mansions aplenty!
They do so whilst the have-nots wallow in slumps with very little regards from the rich or their governments.
