Ivorians will go to the polls in october 2025 in a twin election that will see a new president elected.
As political parties continue to strategies ahead of the polls, members of the rulling Rally Houphouëtists for Democracy and Peace(Rassemblement des Houphouëtistes Pour la Démocratie et la Paix)RHDP,are living no stone unturned.
One of those who have been on the front line in the campaign rally is Senator Djouha Kehi Edouard,a strong ally of the incumbent president,Allasane Quatarra.Senator Djouha who is one of the most influential figures in Ivorian Politics is the group leader of the RHDP party and the chairman of the Commission of Security and Defense,CSD in the Senate. He has been very vocal on the media calling on Ivorians to rally and support the candidacy of president Allasane in the October polls. The commitment of Senator Djouha in promoting peace , stability and national unity reflects his dedication to the well being of Côte d’Ivoire and makes him a true son of Africa.

In a recent interview the Senator noted that alot of progress had been recorded since the coming of president Allasane in Power .”Emergence is a vast undertaking. Let’s look at the facts. In 2011, when Alassane Ouattara took power, how many paved streets were there compared to today? How easy was it for a resident to obtain a house? Any serious Ivorian who has looked around will tell you yes, that from 2011 to 2021, Côte d’Ivoire evolved, modernized, and gave itself the tools to project itself into the future. This is emergence! However, there are technical data that define emergence. You can have 18/20 on one aggregate and a 9/20 on another. We need to make efforts in certain areas. There is progress in terms of emergence. I would say there is work to be done. Emergence is the ambition we have set for ourselves, and there is work to be done. We are very satisfied with the work that has been done.”The refined and seasoned politician who believes in power to the people is confident that his party will emerge victorious in upcoming elections.”When we look at the facts and the rate that the RHDP won in past elections, we can technically say that in the 2025 elections, the RHDP will win. But in politics, a day is like a hundred (100) years. The RHDP should continue to do what convinced the Ivorian people to give them the National Assembly in order to keep the presidential palace.”
The honorable and dynamic senator from the Cavally region is loved by his people for his humility and down to earth approach.

Questioned by our Colleagues of Fratmat.info about his role in maintaining peace in Còtedévior the esteemed Senator said”From 2011 to 2015, we disarmed 90% of the militias and self-defense groups. We ensured that all the auxiliaries, including the “dozos,” left the army. Today, everything is going well. The Wê people and the non-natives go about their business. As proof, during the recent presidential election of October 2020, there was no violence in the west unlike other regions such as the cities of Yamoussoukro, Dabou, Daoukro, etc. Our parents understood that the work of security must be left to the government and we are proud of it.
